Pros and Cons

Pros5

Motorized screwdriver is fantastic for working on electronics. Even on myrc drones and trucks. Great solution for someone with wrist pain. Still useful, but dont treat it as a every day manual driver.

Polly worked with me through the issues i had and was very helpful in my experience. I am sure they had a nice discount on that as well for cyber monday.

It has two torque modes and when set into the lock position via a rotary switch on the end, you can manually torque the bad boy. I recommend this for reassembly and not disassembly.

Put all the torx bits on one row, all the hex on another and add a couple more hex sizes. Comes with some oddball security bits that come in handy if you don't have any already.

All the parts stay in the tray when held upside down so that a big plus for me. The only thing i can say that i dislike is when its all closed there is a little play between the case and the trey rattle. I think if the spring inside was a little bit b...  Read More

Cons1

It's almost as if the motor is faulty. The battery is dead and will not charge. I respect the company replacing the first one, but this driver has garbage internals.

Pros3

Works like a charm and quick to a least 5 times faster.

Makes quick work of drywall hanging or installing decking. Only gripe is that it only came with the decking screw tip. The ridgid screwgun is solidly made and feels durable to hold.

Good tool for the price. Very truly impressed with the seller.

Cons4

According to the manual, the issue is an overloaded motor. It is difficult to load the phillips bit and takes too long to change the bit. The seller is less than helpful.

Save effort by skipping this reconditioned model. A bit, costing over $8.

It either misdrives screws or jams. The clutch engages before the screw is fully driven. I drove alot of screws, it's fast, but spent alot of time fixing it.

Out of position, this tool is useless. Not for plywood sheathing.
