Kids 3-6 yr old were able to play it together with older kids/adults with help. My 4yo grandson loves to play this and can follow the rules. It's fun for the grownups playing with her too. I have an 11, 8, and 3 yr old and they all enjoy it.
Soy ink made the colors/crispness feel less professionally printed. Each play is different since the path tiles drawn will be different shapes.
Great for building teamwork. It's a bit like team building between siblings. They are genuinely just as satisfied when the ogres win.
My 4-year-old son was freaked out by this game and never wants to play it. My 7yrs old son was bored by it. I try to hype it up while playing with my boys, but if i didn't, it's just a game of constant picking of cards.
