The set comes with a pack of cards showing the moves for each piece. There are storage compartments in the bottom for the pieces, which is especially helpful. Comes with a pouch.
It seems really cheaply made. The magnets are quite weak and barely hold the pieces in place. Sometimes it makes an annoying buzzing noise after you make it's move. Overall, this chess computer is not intuitive to use.
Very good detail for a smaller magnetic wooden set, expecially on the knights. Comes with an extra pawn, queen, and pair of knights for each color.
The only downside is that it has a strong wood finish and shellac smell when you first receive it. But a few days on your porch or garage, and the strong smell goes away. It is the kind of fancy board that should be well cared for.
As these days they only apply a matte varnish, all imperfections in the wood are apparent on a dull table. What bothers me the most is the fact that they don't apply lacquer on the surface of the board.
