The dimmer switch provides three selections of brightness. The middle setting is perfect. It brightens the entire area and helps with lower light areas outside of the hallway.

Unlike the led bulb, this lighting has a number of small led's circularly inside the frosted dome. This is wider than the old fixture it replaced.

Easy to install. Light weight helps with one-person installation.

Found this * and love it. I love that it hugs the ceiling. Will install a second light in other existing location.

This one is chintzy with a plastic globe. These are quite pricey for the quality you are getting.

Jury is out on longevity, but from the reviews i've read the seller stands behind the product for the warranty period pretty well. I feel this is as important as the original purchase and am a very pleased customer.

These lights are total garbage. Neither is there moisture or elemental exposure. Not a good product for longevity.

The rfi radiation they emit prevents any wireless remote transmitter from working. When they don't it is miserable. I wonder if having them attached to a motion sensor light switch made them fail early?
