All works smoothly. They extend a bit further in work area.
The frames, the hardware and the wheels are much beefier, heavier and stronger. I have a huge quartz work bench that probably weighs 300-400 pounds. Bought these for a router cabinet/bench.
You can eyeball/measure the install location by visually inspecting the mechanics of the foot lever. Predrilling the screw holes is needed.
They tend to drop to the stationary position when i move the saw. When i raise my bench they are not perpendicular to the floor. No measurements or even suggestions on instillation height.
What a bummer. Only for the purpose of saving other people money aggravation and possible injury.
Casters are heavy duty and roll over / thru sawdust. I use these on the front legs of my pellet grill (only the back has wheels) installed on a 600lb gaming table that gets moved around. I have a 6 foot wooden work bench that weighs about 500 lbs.
Pre-drilling is a must. Double check the vertical position of the bracket from the floor before installing. Assemble caster and install with longer bolt.
Supplied screws are stainless and they are usually softer than steel. The screws that come with them have the tensile strength of chilled taffy.
They’re in there, under a piece of protective cardboard in the box.
The weight of the bench is too high for these. They are not strong enough to be usedpermanently on a table saw. Screws are soft metal and strip very easily which will leave this product trapped in your bench.
The stamped steel is about the same as my lighter duty set but the pivot bolts are only 1/4-20 bolts. Installation instructions are incorrect- they say to put together each wheel set first before mounting. There are missing nuts and screws required fo... Read More
