They don't feel cheap at all, are super bright, lightweight, and work perfectly. Spectrum a (for seed/blooming) is a nice 3500k white. My african violet and purple shamrock look pretty happy so far.

Light simulates natural sunlight which you can turn on any time of the day. This light is great on my nightstand where sunlight is lacking. The switch guides through three different light modes and ten levels of brightness.
The timer function works well, the options being 3, 9, and 12 hour modes. It’s also a usb plug so it's very universal. Only thing i’m not fond of is how easily it tips.
The tripod legs just flop around and collapse if you try to stand them up. There doesn't seem to be a way to lock them in place. Perhaps the one i got is defective?
