The 5000 kelvin is super white. As an old halogen bulb burns out we put in one of these and notice a positive difference immediately. They are bright and works well with the dimmer switch.

Bought a pack in aug. Pricey but worth it. We install 14 of them and all are still working fine. My building is from the 60s, so, if you have a newer home, i'm sure these will be great for you.

Installed four of these in the recessed lighting cans in my finished basement. Seems to have doubled to light in the room without being harsh. Use is in a totally enclosed, non-dimmable fixture at the entrance foyer.

Great addition for task lighting at full light and adjusts down for ambient lighting. This is what makes the amazon shopping experience impossible to beat. I hope this helps someone who isn't sure what they want come to a purchasing decision.

The dimming works and the temperature stays true as dimming. They brighten the room at full power, but can be dimmed, if desired with a command from alexa or siri.

Annoying flicker at start up. When i adjust the frequency of the dimmer to dial out the intermittent flickering they will be flicker free for a short time only to resume flickering later on. Not on dimmer.
