If you plug a controller in it disappears and windows starts playing the 'new usb device connected' sound effect. Would not recommend in the slightest.

Using this to reduce pressure for soaker hose. Doesn't dribble at the swiveling joint. This apparently drops my city water pressure from around 115 psi to a pressure my drip irrigation can live with.
