If you plug a controller in it disappears and windows starts playing the 'new usb device connected' sound effect. Would not recommend in the slightest.
The mclassic is usable with any console that can support hdmi either natively or with another adapter. You still need to have a monitor that can handle the kind of resolution you want to have so there isn't a misunderstanding.
This is one of the best products i've ever purchased for my gaming library. It really does work and you can flip the on/off switch on the mclassic. Although marginal, it _does_ work.

The latter creates a silly-looking image that looks like wet paint smudged. It's seems the anti aliasing is either an edge blur filter or fxaa then they run a sharpen filter to help remove the massive amounts of blur.

The mclassic has no resolution selector. It looks blurry and *. Only great for older monitor/tv with poor upscaling. Your 4k is already upscale.
