The one downside is that similar quality grinding discs typically cost much less than this 3m disc.

It's an alternative to hook and loop (velcro), and i've decided not to go this route. The discs are a lot more expensive.

They are rubber so they flex unlike some that are hard plastic. Thy are perfect for my needs.
