Pros and Cons

Pros2

Just a few drops for changing 5 gallons of water. Easy to use, though the directions are in metric, so if you live in the us you'll have to convert to gallons. Works well for betta fish or other small fish in the aquarium. I have a 40 gallon tank and ...  Read More

Pros5

Leaves are huge and last a while, while in 55 gallon aquarium. Like it better then a pouch of peat pellets in filter, lets me save filter space for small charcoal knit bag which completely eliminates fish tank smell.

Plecos love grazing on these and after a while the leaf will slowly be eaten. When they eventually fall, it adds to the decor and my cori catfish love using them as hideouts. These are pretty large, so i crumble them up to create leaf litter.

The almond leaves are massive! The leaves are big and appear to be premium quality. These are very nice leaves, well packaged and huge. These leaves are nice sized and very clean.

Indian almond leaves seem to have a therapeutic and calming affect on bettas. Still working on the ideal consistency but have plenty of leaves and time to experiment. Add a leaf to float at the top to add coverage and my betta will hang out there.

They're huge, and it's awesome! They are huge! These ones are not bad! I am impressed that they are big and none were broken. I used to buy these from fritz, they are bigger and a lot more compare to the one fritz sells and then the price too.

Cons1

All they've done is discolor the tank water. Picture 2 tannins coming from driftwood not these leaves. Noticed a fungi growing on the leaf after two weeks.
