Dostoyevsky's crime and punishment is the first classic detective story. A * mystery in some ways, but similar to the tv columbo. A man * for a variety of reasons or murky motives.
As you read you'll find yourself rooting for him, for this * who just killed two people. Even when he finally is punished by the government, he's no longer really being punished.

The audio book is excellent, and (for this american) the english accents are delightful. This is the most charming and delightful book i’ve read in quite some time. I highly recommend this book to everyone who can read.
