Easy install, just need size 9-11 socket wrenches (only need 2) and an hex key for license plate mounting screws. Very easy to adjust after connecting.
It is much higher quality than i expected and the fit and positioning of the bracket is perfect. The platypus holds the plate solidly.
Worked great for my 2017 outback. Only problem is that the rod is a little short so the screws going through the plate might scratch the bumper.
Tried removing the license plate bracket holder from the front tow plate in my 2020 subaru forester. To remove it, you have to remove the plate (with an allen wrench and 7/16 wrench) it should not be advertised as working with a 2019.
These screws are 1/4 diameter. The screws are too big for plate mounts on u. Also the instructions are terrible and poorly translated.
