This controller has a zero start function built in. The delay in the throttle response is flat out dangerous. I've hooked up other controllers no problem, this one is a nope.

It is solidly made, and handles the film gently and precisely. Was a breeze to transfer the film to digital.

The only negatives are it takes a long time (approx. An hour) the booklet shows how to insert the film which helped.

What a disappointment, and waste of $400. If you have longer videos it is a nightmare. Only buy this is your expectations are very modest and you don't want to go to any effort. Very, very disappointed.

The options are also very limiting, only an exposure and sharpness option. Pictures are a bit fuzzy and you need to be careful to make sure any background light (such as from an overhead) doesn't casts a shadow or glare.
