The drill bits work fine for their intended purpose, which is to drill pilot holes for screws. The screw in/unscrew switch is in a convenient place and allows you to swap back and forth quickly. It has good power to drive in screws and tighten bolts.
The ring turns but has zero effect. It's a pretend feature that feels sleight of hand disingenuous. I have a harbor freight drill i paid 20 for also with a light that works 50x better.
