The image is of a fake game cartridge and it's is unlucky that you would be given a real copy. Slowed up late, get disappointed with seller. Broken or fake piece of junk.
Invisible shield is for scratch, dust, dirt and fingerprints. They even send a bumper/guide that you place around the edge of the phone. You need to get a good feel for how the fixture attaches, and how the shield will fit into the fixture.

Since this one doesn't have that protective coating, there is an obnoxious amount of fingerprints on my screen. My recommendation is to opt for a different screen protector of the same brand, one with an oleophobic coating on it.
I’m not sure if there was a mistake in the product being put in the wrong box during production. Just not made for the iphone 12/12 pro.
A lifetime warranty is a scam here. The problem is it’s the most “smudgy” screen protector ever! I’m going to the at&t store to let them do it.
