Mancala is an easy game for almost anyone to learn. It reinforces concepts of counting, math, strategy, and tactics. It's still playable but it's a little frustrating because they could so easily have made the pits a little deeper.
My only annoyance is that some of the pretty “gemstones” are too large for the slots. I also wish the stones came in a sturdier permanent holder too.
The box was terribly damaged. The product was also damaged.
If you practice safely, then this game is fun to play with your child. It's just a game and the main objective is to have family fun together. Woke up wanting to play it.
Sneaky snacky squirrel is a great way to teach patience processing and coordination. Use the sneaky squirrel tongs to gather up the acorns.
Bought this game some time ago for my then 3 year old granddaughter. My 2-year-old and 4 year old boys absolutely love the squirrel they love the pinchers.
A day later & the odor is still too strong to even think about letting my 3 year old granddaughter play with it. The kids get bored very fast.
The kids end up feeling sad and cheated (or angry) if someone steals their acorn.
It's made of cheap cardboard material, all besides the acorns and the pincer- squirrel is plastic. The spinner and game board/box are cardboard and the whole thing feels cheap.
