Mancala is an easy game for almost anyone to learn. It reinforces concepts of counting, math, strategy, and tactics. It's still playable but it's a little frustrating because they could so easily have made the pits a little deeper.
My only annoyance is that some of the pretty “gemstones” are too large for the slots. I also wish the stones came in a sturdier permanent holder too.

The silicon board is impressive and the weighted pieces are phenomenal. It lays flat, the pieces slide nicely on it and it can be rolled up or folded.

The mat is large and the pieces are not easily knocked over during play. They have a porcelain-like sound when they clink together.
My elementary age kids love the fun googly eyes. I have a nice glass set, but i never put it out for fear of the pets knocking pieces off, that's not a fear with this set. The googly eyes are a plus and really was worth the money.
The triple weighted set is not worth the price. The silicone board isn’t very thick. It stinks from the moment you open it and hurts your mouth, lips and brain.
Very disapointing still searching for a replacment. Not nearly. The most disappointing thing of all is the weight. A set that isn't accurately listed and couldn't survive shipping isn't for me.
