Like many people i made assumptions, but it looks very nice. These seem to be well made truly unique little lamps.

Ordered two for master bedroom; exceeded my expectations. It literally elevates the room. The seller is great.

The base/pedestal feels very solid and the lampshade is wide, dark black with a gold interior. The gold lining on inside of shade puts out a warm, lovely hue.

One of the lampshades has small bubbles in it and the other shows signs of coming apart at the seam.
