It says that it's dual volt but it's really not.

Love the infra red, it. Alone makes it worth it. It has several attributes that suggest it is a good choice for professionals.

I am not sure it is quieter, but at a lower decibel than my old hair dryer. It is quieter than other dryers i've used. Ordering a new one.

Would be perfect for a bonnet setup due to the high heat output. The diffuser works great for my curly hair. The attachments are nice to whether i want to wear my hair straight or use the diffuser for more natural curls using the low speed setting.

It dries well but the life expectancy is so brief that it's simply not worth the money. The good drying time is not worth all the hassle of loud, heavy, and dangerous overheating. Would not recommend.

Even after about 5 minutes, this thing starts to sound like a car going uphill. It just starts puttering out. It sparked, started smoking then died completely yesterday. It’s also not at all light weight and has super awkward button placement.

My hair is very frizzy and hard to style with this dryer. The handle gets hot when using the hot heat setting, low speed and with the condenser attachment - always has.
