Two layers of non-woven fabrics are added inside to improve warmth. Gets very comfortably warm even at the lowest setting. Cold water isn't as bad if your bathroom is already nice and toasty. Plus, it's big enough to share the warmth!

It can also be used as a normal blanket by detaching the controller. This heating blanket is phenomenal.

Chinese cheap junk. Cannot recommend thisproduct in good conscience. Apparently the quality for these sherpa ones aren't up to par.

Lasted 3 mos then flashed red only, unable to fix. This has a 2 hour timer, not a 4 hour timer as listed. Shuts off on its own after 10 minutes.

The blanket is high quality, stitched well. It feels exactly like being gently held down by a layer of children's bean bags. I'd recommend this to anyone who thinks their kid might benefit. I notice many reviews lack helpful information.

The outer layers are cool to the touch bamboo but the inner layers are not breathable polyester that trap in your body heat. Not breathable like advertised. It really destroys the body.

The glass beads only pool up on one side of the pickets when using the blanket. The weight is not evenly distributed. The bead size is inaccurate and the beads leaks out onto your sheets.
