These lancets are easy to open, just twist the cap off. They are very sharp, which makes the jab less painful. Overall, this is a great value lancet and it worked great with my lancing device.
Most of the time they will not even puncture my skin. My poor cat's ears were traumatized. The expiration date on the package is 04-2019.
