Who else loves the classic game of candyland? The right gift for a little girl.
Gameplay is quick and straight forward. Changes to the existing rules are easy to figure out. I don't think i've spent so much time figuring out the basics in a long time.
It's a pretty solidly constructed game. The board and pieces are colorful, albeit cardboard - there are no plastic figurines to assemble.
My 7 yo loves this! Also, my fiance and my friends play it without him sometime. My 2 preteens love it as well.

The only remotely playable characters are the fighter and the wizard. Out of playing this 5-6 times, the wizard is extremely overpowered. The laughable thing about this is that the quick start rules suggest new players should play a rogue or cleric.
There is zero decision-making, zero strategy, and therefore the special cards that let one peek into rooms to view the monster/treasure therein are entirely meaningless.
