The dremel fastens in by removing the threaded collar for attachments and then setting it in the fixture. There's a threaded collar in this stand and a wrench to tighten it. Tighten all the bolts as well.

It's like they relabeled the hft imported junk. I hope to update this review when the replacement arrives. It is a small thing but it wasted so much of my time and effort to report and resolve the issue.

There is only one notch in the dremel holder. You can't release or change bits which means you have to disassemble.
