The app allows you to control the brightness and the on/off function. Went right onto the bamboo post in my orchid rocket. The light bulb itself is small but it puts out plenty of light.
Size is just right for my indoor plants that don't get enough light during the day. Telescopic pole is sturdy and can be adjusted for the size of the pot. Light is angled to shine light on not only the oxalis but also the propeller plant.

The light halo bends at the hinge to be a 90 degree angle. Something is wrong with the cord. I literally have to hold the cord near the plug in, to get it to work.
