Installation is fairly straightforward and the instructions gives two recommended methods. This is not so noticeable once the chair is set back up. They are hardly noticeable and protect my new floors. Glide smoothly on the floor and stay on place.

These don't withstand the test of time. The way they are packaged so every one is bent out of shape. Some of the 'cork' like pads come off when you slide the chair.
