Small form factor that fits neatly in my stereo rack. The build quality is top notch using a steel case. It has a nice little carrying case (maybe made of neoprene?
The included carrying pouch is a nice touch and provides some padding/protection. Despite being dropped it still works, so i guess it's pretty rugged.
It works for brief (2 hours) charging and using a 10 laptop. However, the actual capacity is much lower than what it says. The fan is so noisy even though it's not moving much air.
If you want your older stuff to work without taking out a loan you have to be willing to tinker and figure it out. The product works great but there was one downside which was some of the colors were muted a bit.
With a couple flicks of switches this allows you to easily spoof 5. Hdmi. The switches on the scaler allows customizing each output!
With this connected to my monitor out hdmi port, and adjusting the dip switches, it sends an eid signal back to the receiver that a 4k tv is attached. My av receiver is a newly bought rx-a1080 from yamaha.
This is great to downscale a 4k signal to 1080p, but when passing through the native signal (4k60 hdr vrr) the picture keeps dropping in and out. It's also very finicky. Connecting the capture card in the second hdmi output and nothing connected.
