The strobing still occurs but it is slower and less noticeable when the brightness is turned down. Shipping is not 2 day but it did arrive in the week delivery window provided.

It's possible that it might have lasted longer than four years. I'm 80 so if this one lasts as long i'm covered.

Light is perfect in the bedroom. Most regular night stand lamps are so tall that the closet door will not open, but this lamp is the perfect height!
