There were no instructions. Instruction pamphlet is available only when you disassemble it form the way it is packaged. The packaging is a joke and the lampshade gets bent.

Loved being able to table/shelf mount it, but can't vouch for the stability of the stand mount.

It * securely to my table, it provides enough light (40w max) for me to see the details i need. It uses a 40 w bulb that is the max. It gives off enough light for her to do homework.

Great price, great “fire engine red” with a hint of orange. Actually ended up buying a second one. Hopefully it lasts like it should, though it does seem like it will.

Box shows stabilizer but it is not included. First fall and the base is busted, see the photo. Peg at end of lamp is not stable in base.
