A compliment coming from him is high praise. One little thing is that i feel it doesn't give off tons of light. But overall the aesthetic is great.

It is a little dimmer than i hoped with the one e26 bulb, but it is by no means dim.

This light is perfect for our small entryway! The black and gold goes perfectly with our modern farmhouse decor. Looks exactly as pictured.

It literally says in the picture “ours is frosted glass” and that other companies sell “cheap plastic”. It is extremely dark, even with the brightest bulb. My small accent lamp gives off more light than this ceiling light. This is an awful lamp.

The only issue i have is with installation. You have to feed the wires thru a small hole in the mounting plate to complete installation, so if you're connecting to solid awg 14 like most people, this means you need to place the wire nuts above the mou...  Read More

The instructions were no help, they essentially tell you install the light. Even once mounted, the lamp is really not held firmly at all. It buzzes sooooooo loud if you install it with a dimmer!
