The pottery warmer comes with a liner for the tortilla dough. If you want thinner tortillas you need a wetter dough, use parchment paper on both sides cut to fit.

I read others complain about the glazing chipping.

The thickness is more suited for small pizza crusts or pitas, but there's no way you can fold it into a taco.

Even if it pressed well, the coating on the press flakes off as you use it. The press is decently constructed, however theres a bit a flaw with the design. This presser is not the patacona you are looking for.

The top plate slips back and forth about 1 to 1 1/2 inches. The handle sticks up about 45 deg. There is definitely slop in all of the moving parts. The tortillas are uneven because the disks are uneven.

This is ridiculously too large for a tortilla warmer. It needs to be shapedblike a mushroom or taller. Alot of condensation inside.

Made of plastic with no insulation. Also still had a lot of plastic rough edge on bowl top that had not been properly trimmed. It said bpa and melamine free which i had not noticed.
