Heater works great for 5 gallon betta tanks. Place it next to the filter as it helps to circulate the temperature. Working great in my 10 gallon aquarium.

The colbalt aquatics 100 watt heater for my turtle tank is fantastic. Having the two 100 watt heaters on each side of the tank warms, and keeps it warmer a lot quicker and longer. Coming from 5 years of reef experience.
