This is an unstructured bag that can be folded flat to fit in a carryon. It carries my cork yoga mat, a blanket, a small * cushion, my phone.
The bag itself is deceptively big! Looks like it can fit a wider mat as well. My mat is standard width, but there is more space. I am ecstatic my manduka pro long yoga mat fits in this bag!

It is definitely not flimsy, feels just right to me. It’s light but sturdy. Durable and sturdy.
After a few uses, the zipper will break. If you have a heavy yoga mat, 2 blocks & strap it is too much.
