Just as described, fits snuggly on my eos 250d. After putting it on a tripod everything's perfectly lined up. Works good for the price.

Either sticks in permanently or falls out constantly.

Base can be rotated freely (360° +) in either direction when not clamped down. Cold shoe attachment is removable, exposing ¼-20 female tripod socket. Ball joint allows me to swivel whatever i have mounted to where i need it.

Like everything i've bought from smallrig these are well machined and solid. No complaint here. They do what they are supposed to and i trust them with light loads.

The bottom ring can't just be tightened against the camera. You have to tighten it to the camera and then tighten the barrel down on top of it. The whole ball head is not independent of the tightness of the shoe mount.

They're super flimsy and hard to assemble. Terrible build. Not sturdy. Going into my drawer of total failure camera parts.
