The lamp is half the width of my previous 4-bulb fluorescent fixture. It works great with no humming ballast. The only downside is there is an led strip inside so when it goes out, you can't switch it out like a lightbulb.

The housing is sturdy and it was easy to take apart and put back together. Easy to install and just the right brightness. Prefect for a laundry room or garage.

The quality seems terrific and it really ties together a room with a modern-minimalist, desert/boho or mid-century aesthetic. It looks like an investment piece -- really sleek and stylish. The glass is the right thickness and does not distort.

The fixture was broken were plastic bulb attaches to base. Sure enough, it was smashed within its plastic wrapping. Rather than the pain in the * to repackage and send back; attempt to put to use.
