The original "*" light always smacked the top of my head. This light is perfect for a thin small hallway or entryway. You can change the brightness with three levels.

Led bulb gives off great lighting and a huge upgrade from florescent light. They replace a pair of fluorescent light fixtures that would periodically need bulbs or ballasts replaced -- a real pain. Better than any fluorescent fixture in existence.
