It's a lot lighter in weight and flatter than the old fluorescent fixture. It's in our laundry room in the basement and does a good job. Very even, diffuse lighting, excellent as low-glare task lighting.

For other products, usually two fasteners are required on both ends to support the weight. Mounts to the existing standard junction box plus four screws to stabilize the oversized mounting plate.

Light is not flat and is severely warped in one corner. Not easy to install as claimed. My application requires a warmer color temperature so i will either return the light or find another use for it.

They are much brighter and light the hallway very well. Since my closet is stuffed to the gills, it looks dark but trust me, it is brighter than the two led bulbs i had before. Wired them myself.
