Very bright 100w 6500k, like the best daylight style fluorescent bulbs in hard to illuminate spots of our house. Oldest bulb i have is 6 months and never had any issues.

Light pattern is easy to change by flipping the power on and off. Not perfect if you want them on a timer, since they use the on/off cycle to determine settings. Otherwise they're terrific!
