The room has everything you need and more. The garden is beautiful with plants and the pool is clean. We ordered breakfast in the room both mornings and ate it at our private pool which was just perfect! Both the big pools from the hotel are beautiful. One has a gorgeous garden around and the other one is great for sunbathing. The whole setting is just magical and we can’t recommend this place enough!","review_rating":5.0,"sentiment_class":"positive","sentiment_result":0.9607326837499999,"sentiment_breakdown":[["Our stay at Pavilion was just incredible!",["positive",0.9665191]],["We stayed in a private pool room which was amazing.",["positive",0.9452675]],["The room has everything you need and more.",["positive",0.9837642]],["The garden is beautiful with plants and the pool is clean.",["positive",0.9613818]],["We ordered breakfast in the room both mornings and ate it at our private pool which was just perfect!",["positive",0.9830353]],["Both the big pools from the hotel are beautiful.",["positive",0.95235354]],["One has a gorgeous garden around and the other one is great for sunbathing.",["positive",0.9771607]],["The whole setting is just magical and we can’t recommend this place enough!",["positive",0.91637933]]],"reviewer_fake_points":-15}

The room itself is spacious and 3 of the walls are glass which is pretty cool if you want lots of light (otherwise we just closed the curtains). The bed was very comfortable (very firm) and the mosquito netting worked fine. The ensuite was also fine with a good shower. But the joy was having a small private garden and the cool plunge pool / jacuzzi which was a god-send after spending the day in nearly 40 degree heat. We only stayed for 2 nights but enjoyed a cool dip both evenings. The only downside to the room was that it was right up against the wall so the traffic noise was quite loud, although we still slept well so not a big issue.\n\nThe 25 min massage was also very good and we enjoyed the sunset cruise although we did not get to see the sunset due to the weather. The breakfast and service was very good but I can't give it 5 stars as overall the hotel did not do all the little nice touches that our hotel in Siem Reap did (for half the price). These included the following:\n\nWhen we were picked up at the airport, no member of staff came to greet us, when we arrived at The Pavillion there was no cold towel waiting for us or offered. We were taken to our room which was not already cool and were warned that if the air conditioning didn't work to let them know by 5pm?! A longer massage would have been nice. \n\nI totally appreciate that being picked up and returned to the airport by a member of staff is not the norm and probably not very practical for most hotels, but it happened in Siem Reap. However, having cold towels and ensuring the room is already cool before guests arrive is probably an easy win for The Pavillion to improve on. \n\nOverall would stay here again due to convenient location (easy walk to the Palace or south to Bassac Lane area) and the lovely Jacuzzi Room.","review_rating":4.0,"sentiment_class":"positive","sentiment_result":0.9100086926666667,"sentiment_breakdown":[["The best thing about this hotel was that we had picked the \"jacuzzi room\".",["positive",0.9573776]],["The room itself is spacious and 3 of the walls are glass which is pretty cool if you want lots of light (otherwise we just closed the curtains).",["positive",0.9017977]],["The bed was very comfortable (very firm) and the mosquito netting worked fine.",["positive",0.9244134]],["The ensuite was also fine with a good shower.",["positive",0.9713054]],["But the joy was having a small private garden and the cool plunge pool / jacuzzi which was a god-send after spending the day in nearly 40 degree heat.",["positive",0.98085666]],["We only stayed for 2 nights but enjoyed a cool dip both evenings.",["positive",0.9282884]],["The only downside to the room was that it was right up against the wall so the traffic noise was quite loud, although we still slept well so not a big issue.",["positive",0.8781787]],["The 25 min massage was also very good and we enjoyed the sunset cruise although we did not get to see the sunset due to the weather.",["positive",0.98519325]],["The breakfast and service was very good but I can't give it 5 stars as overall the hotel did not do all the little nice touches that our hotel in Siem Reap did (for half the price).",["positive",0.92811227]],["These included the following: When we were picked up at the airport, no member of staff came to greet us, when we arrived at The Pavillion there was no cold towel waiting for us or offered.",["positive",0.92282486]],["We were taken to our room which was not already cool and were warned that if the air conditioning didn't work to let them know by 5pm?",["unknown",0.6596765]],["A longer massage would have been nice.",["positive",0.95945376]],["I totally appreciate that being picked up and returned to the airport by a member of staff is not the norm and probably not very practical for most hotels, but it happened in Siem Reap.",["unknown",0.76674795]],["However, having cold towels and ensuring the room is already cool before guests arrive is probably an easy win for The Pavillion to improve on.",["positive",0.99048644]],["Overall would stay here again due to convenient location (easy walk to the Palace or south to Bassac Lane area) and the lovely Jacuzzi Room.",["positive",0.8954175]]],"reviewer_fake_points":45}

Only drawback was the restaurant only had fans to cool off and if you ask for room with 2 beds they gave us room with painted black window. A big disappointment! The lack of a view though disappointing i did notice the rooms with 1 bed were quite nice. The ataff very helpful and the 2cswimming pools very enjoyable as they were open 24 hrs.","review_rating":4.0,"sentiment_class":"unknown","sentiment_result":0.7625449033333332,"sentiment_breakdown":[["The hotel decor was beautiful.",["positive",0.9302341]],["This use to be a palace and it has lovely as ambiance.",["positive",0.9926917]],["Only drawback was the restaurant only had fans to cool off and if you ask for room with 2 beds they gave us room with painted black window.",["positive",0.91678166]],["A big disappointment!",["negative",0.10328086]],["The lack of a view though disappointing i did notice the rooms with 1 bed were quite nice.",["unknown",0.6901677]],["The ataff very helpful and the 2cswimming pools very enjoyable as they were open 24 hrs.",["positive",0.9421134]]],"reviewer_fake_points":-70}

We had a lovely private jacuzzi room which was massive and well equipped, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the fish amok from the restaurant was the best I've had so far (1 week in to a 2 week trip). The free 25min dry massage was good, the 1hr oil massage was even better. Breakfast had a good selection, along with tea/coffee, bread and pastries there were western options, healthy options and a great Khmer rice porridge. 2 pools to choose from, the only suggestion we could make would be to somehow include a swim up bar! ;-) Also the location was perfect, it was too hot for us to walk very far but in the cooler months this would have been very convenient for a lot of central spots we visited.","review_rating":5.0,"sentiment_class":"positive","sentiment_result":0.9492177183333333,"sentiment_breakdown":[["We had an awesome stay at The Pavilion, the complex is a lush tropical oasis right in the heart of the city.",["positive",0.8787856]],["We had a lovely private jacuzzi room which was massive and well equipped, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the fish amok from the restaurant was the best I've had so far (1 week in to a 2 week trip).",["positive",0.9891516]],["The free 25min dry massage was good, the 1hr oil massage was even better.",["positive",0.9800756]],["Breakfast had a good selection, along with tea/coffee, bread and pastries there were western options, healthy options and a great Khmer rice porridge.",["positive",0.99873096]],["2 pools to choose from, the only suggestion we could make would be to somehow include a swim up bar!",["positive",0.86560845]],[";-) Also the location was perfect, it was too hot for us to walk very far but in the cooler months this would have been very convenient for a lot of central spots we visited.",["positive",0.9829541]]],"reviewer_fake_points":-70}
