Great coffee, great space! I've been been regular here since they opened up in LIC but more often than not I simply get things to go. The coffee is excellent of course and the pastries from Ovenly and doughnuts from Underwest are terrific! They have also collaborated with Maman for their in house menu and the seasonal fare is delicious. I recently enjoyed a ricotta toast with spring peas. A coffee habit is expensive to keep. After all, $3-5 every day really adds up. But if I'm going to throw money at an unnecessary habit, I'm going to do it at Toby's. The coffee here is high-quality and all of Toby's drinks do a wonderful job of capturing the aroma and flavor of the coffee beans. Both the Black and White and the Mint Julep are 5-star drinks. They have a nice assortment of pastries and a food menu as well.  This LIC location is pretty quiet and has a wonderful aesthetic. There is a cute patio area in the back and is perfect for a coffee date, catching up with friends, or grabbing a coffee to go. However, there are no wall outlets so it may not be the best place to work on a laptop.  Read Less
