A few months ago Ronald would have gotten 5 stars from me, but now I'm frustrated. I hired Ronald and his team to fix the drywall paint/hang cabinets in the laundry room. I hired Ronald and his team to paint our place and install some recess lighting. They did a great job. I later hired Ronald and his team to paint our cabinets and install a backsplash. I then recommended him to my sister who hired him to paint her whole home. I then recommended him to my Mom and hired him to do some smaller jobs for her. The caulking for the cabinet work they did is now cracking. The backsplash is now separating from the counter. Ronald came over on Feb. 12 to look at it as well as provide me an estimate to install a light in the closest, replace a closet door and replace framing and repair a closest door. Then I waited. I've called. I've texted. I've emailed. Multiple times now over the past 5+ weeks. He is no longer responding to me. I'm extremely frustrated and am now going to be forced to pay someone else to fix the kitchen work that I've already paid him for. He was a pleasure to work with previously, but I don't know what has happened since. Clearly other people are getting in touch based on the timing of their reviews.  Read Less

I"m going to start this review before Ron has even done the work because you need to know how nice this guy is! I was looking for some help on a banister project that I started as a DIY project that ended up being more than I could handle. That's when I went to Yelp to look for a handyman. I asked for a quote from him, but had a timeline in mind and unfortunately, he couldn't fit into that, but said if I needed any advice, to text him. Well....I did. He was SO AWESOME! I noticed in his pictures that he had done a project exactly like mine, so I asked him if I could send a picture of mine and ask a question. Sure, he says! An hour and 30 some texts later, I realize this is the guy I need to finish my project. Even though he was trying to give me advise on how to finish myself! I was like No, I already tried some of that stuff, I now need you to do it. So we agreed on a price, and a day. For that part of our transaction, I already give him 5 stars. How very kind of him to spend part of his day, texting with a lady he doesn't even know, who hasn't hired him, talking her through a project so that she doesn't HAVE to hire him. Yeah, that's good people right there.EDIT: Ron did an EXCELLENT job on the banister/baluster project! He was punctual, thorough and cleaned up everything before he was done. I love the job he did!
