This place is a joke. I came in on a Monday night to participate in the iPhone X deal (trade in your iPhone 6 or higher to get $300 off the iPhone X). The girl who helped us had NO IDEA what she was doing and couldn't even do simple math.She originally said that the iPhone X costs $1279, but my family was really confused because we just bought one last week from Apple for $1179. She told us that T-mobile charges more for iPhones because their phones come with service and Apple's do not (wtf does that even mean). Her coworker overheard her and corrected her. He said T-mobile and Apple charge the same price for phones and she probably just read the price wrong because their printed price sheets are like size 6 font which nobody can read. Then she manually tried to calculate the price for us on a calculator. She was using 9.25% sales tax and when we told her Cupertino sales tax is actually 9%, she said we were wrong. We pulled up our receipt from last week's Apple order and showed her the 9% sales tax. She then admitted she was wrong. Every time she calculated the total for the iPhone X, she got a different number. We calculated it ourselves and the amount did not match hers. She could not do simple math. Why does T-mobile make their employees punch in numbers on an old-school calculator anyway? They should be able to enter it all in the computer & have the system calculate it for you. Customers should not have to teach the staff how to do math. After 20 minutes of debate about whose math is right, her coworker came over and confirmed that we were indeed correct. We finally agreed on a price and then she realized she forgot to inspect the iPhone 6 we wanted to trade in. Turns out they won't accept the tiniest chip in the corner of the screen. SO, we wasted a bunch of time teaching her math and didn't even get the iPhone X deal. It would've been nice to know from the very beginning that my phone was not qualified for trade-in.
