stay in Pigeon Forge because my daughter wanted to go to the TItanic exhibitnDue to health reasons I always clean the sink the remotes the light switch plates and some other areas the moment that we arrive in a room I used a white rag and every place that I wiped came away witht the rag looking clean I was pleasantly surprised by thisnnThe gentleman who checked us in was very personable and funny He made us feel welcome from the moment that we walked into the hotel I wish that I remembered his name he was an older gentleman I spoke with him a number of times during our stay He was great each timennI needed some assistance getting a nearby pharmacy number and I asked for a suggestion for chinese food again the front desk staff was helpful and informativenWe got our Titanic tickets through the hotel that was nicennThe only problematic thing during our stay was that one night the indoor pool was filled with screaming boys They were leaping and diving in and out of the pool The entitled parents who were with them just took videos of the children misbehaving Never not once did they ask them to calm down nor did they address the fact thtat the children were violating the posted rules about diving in the pool After waiting for almost an hour for the parents to decide to be even remotely respectful of other hotel guests I went and spoke with the front desk They sent Erika she listened to me and addressed the unruly children who had been left with no supervision by this point Erika was as kind as the rest of the staff she also understood and listened to my concern I greatly appreciated how friendly concerned she wasnI forgot my body wash the cleaning staff gave me a few more body wash bottles until I could get to the storenI liked having the mini fridge and microwave in our room nnThe only con and it was not a major issue for us was that the elevator is a bit slow I dont know why but unless you have a mobility issue as I do the stairs may be a better option than waiting for the elevatornI will say that the wifi was a bit spotty and not available for use on our balcony nThe air conditioner in our room could use cleaning the air smelled a bit musty but not so much so that it was a major issuennI enjoyed sitting on the balcony it was very calmingnnThe mattresses were comfortable the duvet was white I LOVE that it is easy to see that it is not stainednnBreakfast has good offerings for most people It would be nice if there was a meat option other than pork but that is probably just being a bit too picky I eat turkey bacon but maybe most people eat pork products nThe hashbrowns were delicious nThere was a young man working most mornings named Michael I believe he was really kind There was a hispanic lady who was friendly and talkative I also loved how multiethnic the whole breakfast staff was nThe coffee is delicious Of course there were fluffy waffles We chose to sit inside while we ate but there is a very nice area outside where people can eatnBesides the disruptive unruly children and their uncaring parents our stay was unmarred by any real trouble Everyone in the hotel that we had contact with was friendly As an african
