Honestly Rodeway Inn is nicer than some other motels in the area, but it's still not good.  The room smelled overwhelmingly like bleach, which we spun to be a positive thing because the room was at least clean.  However, it was not so great when I brought my clothes into the bathroom to take a shower and ALL of my clothes got irreparable streaks of bleach all over them! The remote for the TV didn't work. Breakfast was disappointing, but at least it's free. So overall, not a great experience. Still two stars though because the next night motel stay at a different establishment was even worse.  Read Less

This is one of the cleanest, nicest motels I've ever stayed at. I don't know about all of the rooms, but ours had clearly been renovated not very long ago and looked nice and updated -- nice tile in the bathroom, etc. The motel is right across the street from the beach and Jeanette's Pier, and even the basic rooms have a fridge and microwave, which was really nice.My only (small) complaint is that the door needed better weatherstripping at the bottom; temperature wasn't a problem but sand getting in was. The rest of the room was spotless, but the floors ended up getting a little sandy because of the door. The fact that the door isn't sealed properly also means noises from outside are pretty audible -- it wasn't loud or anything, but if you're a light sleeper, earplugs wouldn't be a bad idea.  Read Less
