{"reviewer_id":"4D98ED0238E2D5ADF6F852165C536BA7","reviewer_name":"Excursion Consultant","review_text":"I visited London for 3 nights with 4 friends. We were after cheap but comfortable accommodation...these requirements were at least partially fulfilled...\n\nWe stayed in a 6 bed dormitory, this meant we shared with another person who luckily turned out to be a fellow young girl who was very tidy, considerable and quiet. The bed linen was provided on my bed, which I then had to put onto my bedding, although some of my friends were provided with incomplete linen sets or nothing at all, which was rectified following talking to reception. Now the room itself was extremely small. Our bunk beds were in towers of 3 and were very difficult and painful to climb. We were all under 6 foot tall so the beds were an okay size but a taller person would struggle to lie comfortably. \n\nWe had our own shower/toilet room which we were very grateful for - when we later saw a communal shower we were disgusted by the state of it. The shower room was really cramped and you couldn't really sit on the toilet without crashing your legs into the sink. Also, the light in the bathroom went off everyone 30 seconds, unless motion was detected, so when taking a shower you had to open the shower curtain to activate the sensor to turn on the light meaning the floor got soaked. \n\nAt night, the room was extremely stuffy and hot. We would sleep with the bedroom window open to allow fresh air in. however, despite notices requesting people did not gather outside the hostel after 10/11pm, we were often kept awake by people outside often drunk and loud.\n\nAs far as I'm aware none of my friends experienced theft (etc.) although we would have liked to have access to the lockable drawers in our room but this cost £1 per day whilst other hostels offer this service for free.\n\nCheck out was at 10am but our flight was not until 9pm therefore we left our bags with the hostel. This cost a somewhat extortionate £3 per item. We were given a ticket, which we were told must be presented to retrieve our item, although this was not asked for when we collected our bags at the end of the day so I am concerned that anyone could go up to reception, and say that they had a bag in storage, then walk away with one of our belongings. \n\nWe had breakfast which consisted of cereal with milk or standard white toast with butter/nutella/honey/strawberry jam. There was also tea and coffee as well as orange juice, apple juice and water. \n\nThis was my first experience of a hostel, if you're looking for somewhere cheap with a great location, a 2 minute walk from Bayswater and Queensway tube stations, and aren't too fussed about comfort or a great nights sleep then I'd recommend this hostel, particularly for groups of students/backpackers. However, I think from now on I will stick to hotels with air con and private rooms.","review_rating":3.0,"sentiment_class":"positive","sentiment_result":0.808394543478261,"sentiment_breakdown":[["I visited London for 3 nights with 4 friends.",["positive",0.79055405]],["We were after cheap but comfortable accommodation.",["positive",0.96864575]],["these requirements were at least partially fulfilled.",["unknown",0.6534626]],["We stayed in a 6 bed dormitory, this meant we shared with another person who luckily turned out to be a fellow young girl who was very tidy, considerable and quiet.",["positive",0.9744313]],["The bed linen was provided on my bed, which I then had to put onto my bedding, although some of my friends were provided with incomplete linen sets or nothing at all, which was rectified following talking to reception.",["positive",0.8038776]],["Now the room itself was extremely small.",["unknown",0.3626359]],["Our bunk beds were in towers of 3 and were very difficult and painful to climb.",["positive",0.8890482]],["We were all under 6 foot tall so the beds were an okay size but a taller person would struggle to lie comfortably.",["positive",0.90743357]],["We had our own shower/toilet room which we were very grateful for - when we later saw a communal shower we were disgusted by the state of it.",["positive",0.9482549]],["The shower room was really cramped and you couldn't really sit on the toilet without crashing your legs into the sink.",["positive",0.98853]],["Also, the light in the bathroom went off everyone 30 seconds, unless motion was detected, so when taking a shower you had to open the shower curtain to activate the sensor to turn on the light meaning the floor got soaked.",["negative",0.24545611]],["At night, the room was extremely stuffy and hot.",["positive",0.8973859]],["We would sleep with the bedroom window open to allow fresh air in.",["positive",0.9611812]],["however, despite notices requesting people did not gather outside the hostel after 10/11pm, we were often kept awake by people outside often drunk and loud.",["positive",0.89207494]],["As far as I'm aware none of my friends experienced theft (etc.",["unknown",0.780831]],[") although we would have liked to have access to the lockable drawers in our room but this cost £1 per day whilst other hostels offer this service for free.",["positive",0.91709507]],["Check out was at 10am but our flight was not until 9pm therefore we left our bags with the hostel.",["positive",0.84470177]],["This cost a somewhat extortionate £3 per item.",["negative",0.23228678]],["We were given a ticket, which we were told must be presented to retrieve our item, although this was not asked for when we collected our bags at the end of the day so I am concerned that anyone could go up to reception, and say that they had a bag in storage, then walk away with one of our belongings.",["positive",0.8107052]],["We had breakfast which consisted of cereal with milk or standard white toast with butter/nutella/honey/strawberry jam.",["positive",0.9262257]],["There was also tea and coffee as well as orange juice, apple juice and water.",["positive",0.92383116]],["This was my first experience of a hostel, if you're looking for somewhere cheap with a great location, a 2 minute walk from Bayswater and Queensway tube stations, and aren't too fussed about comfort or a great nights sleep then I'd recommend this hostel, particularly for groups of students/backpackers.",["positive",0.9286326]],["However, I think from now on I will stick to hotels with air con and private rooms.",["positive",0.9457932]]],"reviewer_fake_points":55}

{"reviewer_id":"8C4A904D176BEA86207633D8B3D3B9DF","reviewer_name":"VSJ","review_text":"Good experience. The hostel had all the services that I needed in order to have a great staying. They have an awesome quality-price ratio and one of the big pros was the location: Bayswater station (circle line) and Queensway station (central line) less than 150 m. \n\nThe hostel staff were very respectful, always trying to help.\n\nIn terms of noise despite of what I thought, it was a very calm and relax environment. The lights in the rooms are turn off at 23h00 (11:00 pm). The bathrooms are dedicated to which of the rooms, all very clean and with hot water.\n\nI have only one con to say about the rooms and it's the need to get more ventilation. At the end of the day there was to stale air to breathe properly. During night, even with the air conditioning on, the room were too hot to sleep. I would suggest to invest in a very good ventilation system because it was really the only thing I could remember that was actually in bad condition. Maybe in the winter months, where the hostel have less stayings you can remodeling the system without causing to much trouble.","review_rating":4.0,"sentiment_class":"positive","sentiment_result":0.8635236933333332,"sentiment_breakdown":[["Good experience.",["positive",0.8742253]],["The hostel had all the services that I needed in order to have a great staying.",["positive",0.95508814]],["They have an awesome quality-price ratio and one of the big pros was the location: Bayswater station (circle line) and Queensway station (central line) less than 150 m.",["positive",0.7994695]],["The hostel staff were very respectful, always trying to help.",["unknown",0.6985686]],["In terms of noise despite of what I thought, it was a very calm and relax environment.",["positive",0.9601209]],["The lights in the rooms are turn off at 23h00 (11:00 pm).",["positive",0.79752445]],["The bathrooms are dedicated to which of the rooms, all very clean and with hot water.",["positive",0.976319]],["I have only one con to say about the rooms and it's the need to get more ventilation.",["positive",0.95934033]],["At the end of the day there was to stale air to breathe properly.",["unknown",0.6142875]],["During night, even with the air conditioning on, the room were too hot to sleep.",["positive",0.9446022]],["I would suggest to invest in a very good ventilation system because it was really the only thing I could remember that was actually in bad condition.",["positive",0.8831993]],["Maybe in the winter months, where the hostel have less stayings you can remodeling the system without causing to much trouble.",["positive",0.8995391]]],"reviewer_fake_points":15}

{"reviewer_id":"DC5CCB58519131196CCF7DC8C5B1EAD2","reviewer_name":"Sebastian Trucco","review_text":"Rooms are the worst. I’ve been in a 12 bed accommodation and it was better than 8 bed room. Bathrooms aren’t good either\nThe thing is that your stay here depends of which room are you assigned, which bathroom do you chose to do your things (not all bedrooms has it’s own).\nOtherwise workers and receptionists are nice\nYou met friendly people but also not inside the hostel so it’s up to you!! I think it’s one of the cheapest hostels in London so I think it’s ok but I’ve been in other hostels around the world and generally are much better than this\nOther thing they won’t let you keep your luggage in the place after checkout you’ve to pay for lockers even if is just for a couple of hours","review_rating":2.0,"sentiment_class":"unknown","sentiment_result":0.7460402825,"sentiment_breakdown":[["Rooms are the worst.",["negative",0.12821627]],["I’ve been in a 12 bed accommodation and it was better than 8 bed room.",["positive",0.9724315]],["Bathrooms aren’t good either The thing is that your stay here depends of which room are you assigned, which bathroom do you chose to do your things (not all bedrooms has it’s own).",["positive",0.9630529]],["Otherwise workers and receptionists are nice You met friendly people but also not inside the hostel so it’s up to you!",["positive",0.92046046]]],"reviewer_fake_points":20}
