This is going to be a long one. My bumper was dinged and minor quarterpanel damage occurred along with it. State Farm wrote a check for $1,900 and I took it to them to fix. Was told it'd be about 4-5 days. Drove by the shop after day 4 to see it sitting there with nothing done to it. I figured something may have happened with finding more damage so I let it slide. Drove by four days later and NOTHING was done. Told me they were waiting on insurance. Called State Farm, explained the situation and they said they hadn't received paperwork from them. They immediately approved everything over the phone for them to finish ASAP. Was told the vehicle would be done in three days. That didn't happen. Took the vehicle for the weekend (two weeks after they said it would be complete) for a trip I had planned months in advance. They had taken off my hitch tire carrier and completely unbolted it. It's a wedge lock, it only needed to be loosened to come out. Staff made me install it instead of doing it for me because "tech was out for lunch. " I made the advisor Ronnie watch so he could explain everything to the tech when I brought it back and they would need to remove it again. Brought it back when I said I would, was told I would get it back in two days. Two days later and they need more time. Not shocking with how everything seems to move at a snails pace. But I wanted it done correctly so I didn't complain. Truck was supposed to be done Monday, no call by 3pm so I called. Again, not ready, will be ready Tuesday. Shockingly I got a call noon Tuesday that it was ready. Go to pick it up, tire carrier is loose. Tell them this needs to be impact tight like it was when I brought it in. They tell me it was the tightest they could get it. Not wanting to deal with stupidity I took it to Toyota for them to do. Toyota tells me that the bolt is angled down and they can't reach it. Bolt is supposed to be straight. I immediately go back and explain to them the bolt may be bent. They take photos and tell me to get the info and they'll have Ronnie call me. I noticed them taking photos of the section of my bumper they just fixed as well because it looks dented (explained later below). Ronnie calls about 30min later and says they will replace the bolt. I told them that's fine, but if the threading or anything is damaged they will be replacing the $600 tire carrier. This is when I was told they wouldn't be doing that as he personally watched the tech remove and install it and he NEVER completely unbolted everything the first time. An item they already admitted to possibly breaking, they aren't going to replace. Keep this in mind when going there. They break it, you buy it. I eventually get the bolt loosen to where I can remove the tire carrier. A simple wedge lock this place could not put it on. They also failed to use the washers that came with the tire carrier when installing. Ask them for my washers, they lost them, couldn't find them. They give me two random ones which will work temporarily. Then tell me the assistant must have done this. Story changed within 45min. Ronnie personally watched him remove and install. Where did the assistant come in? The work on the bumper itself isn't terrible, but it doesn't fit 100% and I can see where they scratched it slightly. I plan on replacing it at some point in the future so instead of losing the car for another month I accepted it. The work here is subpar and the staff will flat out lie to you. I would have given maybe a three star, but once the lie happened that ended it. You can see the photo I attached or how they installed a wedge lock. Simple shapes and sizes would tell you it's not correct, but at this body shop this is the way to install it! Read Less
