youre looking for more of the nitty gritty here is my wordy reviewnnThe HOTEL 810nClean and modern the staff were helpful and friendly a few hiccups during the stay which were generally dealt with in a timely manner The wifi not that we really needed it was great most the time Some dead spots but nothing to complain aboutnnFOOD 810 although we are not very fussynThere is lots of choice at the with the coffee shop but Im sure for the average coffee drinker its fine I enjoyed a nice iced coffee there one afternoon My fav smoothie was the luum once there was a man in front of me who gave the lady a banana to add to his smoothie which I thought was brilliant to add some proteinnnROOMS 910 depending on location and staff involvednWere modern with comfy bedspillows and towels Some rooms seem to have AC problems but staff was fast to fix it Location of the room can make a big difference as I feel the resort is quite bigspread out We were first put in the 1500 block and had some problems with the room AC water pressure etc the location of this block was not the best for us and our family of 3 young children we requested a move and moved to the 1100 block which was perfect We were on the ground level and it was fine I didnt notice it to be noisier than the previous 1500 room on the 2nd floor and it was easier as we generally had the stroller with us There are elevators though so its not a big dealnWe enjoyed towel art every day which the kids loved The patio was great although we only used it for the clothes line provided to hang swim wear out at the end of the day The Jacuzzi is a neat feature ask your concierge for bubble bath nOur concierge Avi was super friendly and helpful nThe CLEANERS were efficient and the room was spotless each time they left top marks to them nWe never used the safe as we really didnt have anything of value left in the room Our belongings were never touched and I felt completely safe leaving things outnWe didnt use the mini bar much only to grab a couple cans to give to a gardener who got a coconut for the kids to drink out of n Bottom line if you are not happy with your room speak to reception to deal with any issues or ask to move I did this politely and never had any issuesnnPOOLSnWe spent a few days at the kids pool the quiet pool and the activity pool closest to the steakhouse all were good and offered something different Will mention that the loungers around parts of the quiet pool could use updating One of the sides of the quiet pool had a nice breeze coming off the ocean which I really enjoyed We visited end April it was 30 degrees every day and humid so a nice breeze was great It rained a few times during the night but nothing but sun during the daysnWe also enjoyed the lazy river really nice feature The only suggestion Id make is that it would be nice to have lockerssomewhere safe to leave belongingsnnSHOWS nOnly thing that would have been more beneficial to us is earlier show times as a 9pm start is hard with young kids nWe did catch the Coco show which was well done nThe fire show on the beach the one night was impressive as well nThe mariachi band on the Mexico themed buffet night was a great touch and the games they had set out were tons of funnThe foam party on the one Saturday we were there was lots of fun especially for the kidsnnACTIVITIES nI tried the archery air gun and bingo all were enjoyable Although I gave myself a wicked arm bruise at archery nMy husband did the bike tour which apparently was great I tried to do it one time but it was already full when I got there I think a max of 20 people I never tried to go again as the timing just didnt work with our 1yr olds napnWe did check out the dolphins although not really our thing it was something different to do one morning It was a short simple show they obviously make their money through the private swims etc For us it was a neutral experiencennOur older kids never ended up going to the KIDS CLUB but did partake in the pinata bash on the stage 2 evenings during our stay and had a blast and it was fun trying out Mexican candy afterwardsnnThe BEACH was really nice unfortunately there were red flags and mild seaweed most of the days we were there no ones fault obviously but it meant that we couldnt take advantage of the kayaks or snorkel options nIf the wind and seaweed stay away I think the beach would be AMAZING not a long sprawling beach but a nice protected swimming beach which is exactly why we booked here Even with the red flags and a bit of seaweed we waded in a couple meters and there were lots of friendly fish right there in shin deep water The kids preferred the pools so we only had one beach day however I did have a morning to myself on the beach which included a massage in one of the huts and it was great the massage itself was mediocre I had asked for deep tissue but it ended feeling like just a regular massage but it was still so nice to relax on the beach for half an hour all to myself nnThe STAFF were professional and helpful some more than others but no problems with anyone We didnt really have the same staff at the buffet ever but by the end of our 11 day stay did see one or two of our favs a couple timesnnThe ICE CREAM shop was great as well as ice cream being available at the night buffets pretty sure the kids diet was 90 ice cream Only comment here is that the shop decor is a little sparse it could do with some love and a makeovernnThe BBQ shack was our go to when at the kids poolbeach or quiet pool has all the basics hot dogs burgers chicken fries
