Very poor hygiene everywhere, stairs were dirty and not swept, floor in rooms were dirty, dirty dining areas (food all over the floor, tables sticky with left over food), dirty cutlery and plates, not enough cutlery for everyone (spent 15 minutes waiting for a plate), not enough servants (spent 30 minutes waiting for a glass of water). Some days there was no space to eat because all tables were full.. When we arrived we were deposited to our room, NO explanation of the resort, where to eat, how everything worked! Our pillows were so so high and hard absolutely impossible to sleep on so we asked to transfer rooms as they put us right at the end (20 minute walk to reception when there were plenty of free rooms closer)! The pool/snack day bar was suppose to close at 6:30 and shut half an hour early, when we asked to grab a snack because we hadn’t eaten since breakfast being on an escursioni all day, they refused to even give us a glass of Diet Coke when we were entitled to both a snack and a drink by paying the all inclusive! Plus they were shutting early, so we had to wait until dinner to eat since 8am in the morning! the staff at the bar was extremely Rude! My mother is a frequent traveller due to work, she never has huge expectations, she has travelled worldwide in both 5 star and much lower hotels but this was down right disappointing for the value we paid! We paid generously for this hotel and does not even deserve 4 stars! If the staff were friendly and welcoming it would have made up a lot for the poor hygiene and service however they weren’t willing to help! On top of this, lots of staff were trying to over sell excursions deals through black money! No receipts given and had to be paid in cash, the people would come up to you continuously insisting all through out the day! Extremely unprofessional to have such people working through black money at a Hilton resort!
