I've been searching for a home to rent for two months now. I have come across a lot of property management companies and I am very cautious of who I choose to business with. If I rent from them, these will be the people that I will be dealing with for payment of my rent and to address any issues or concerns that I have while living there. These are also the people that property owners are trusting with their property. I found East Valley Property Management after finding a listing on Zillow. Their process for approval is at a minimum five days. Although the property is available now, they are not very flexible with showing the property and they have no reason as to why, rather a just because attitude. They are not very friendly nor do they make you feel welcomed. I tried to explain my story to them but I felt as she (Misty) could care less why and I felt as if I was bothering her from her busy work (of doing nothing). People looking for a place to rent are looking for a place to live. A place that they will call home and stay sometimes for years. This is a very emotional process for some, and very taxing for others. I write this review because I should have read the reviews before I wasted my time with coming to their office. They have a history of unprofessionalism and I witnessed it for myself. Property owners looking to use them should look elsewhere. Those looking for a home should go somewhere else. Although I'm really bummed that I did not have the opportunity to rent a really nice place that I would have loved. I am beyond relieved that will not have to deal with this office ever again.  Read Less

STUDENTS BEWARE!!! Unfortunately, something just didn't sit right with me when I walked into their office. With the exception of one, the ladies in the office aren't very friendly.  The property I was shown looked like crap and they seemed to raise their eyebrows when I asked about improvements! They don't care about you. It's take it or leave it. No compromise on their end. I got the vibe they're like slum lords and if you ask for a repair good luck with that getting done properly or on time. I told them about a repair that needed to be done for the safety of their tenants when I viewed the place- I went back to view the property again and they still had not fixed the problem. That was almost 2 weeks! Needless to say, I did NOT sign a lease lol. Rent is too high for the low quality places they offer. I DO NOT recommend this property management company.  Read Less
