resort after having read previous reviews what’s delivered now is not what it wasnnThe beach is what it is yes there’s seaweed yes it stinks badly and yes you can smell it in the hotel and around the pools when the wind blows but that’s nature and there’s nothing anyone can do about this It’s a shame you can’t go for long walks up the beach and swim in the water but not the end of the world nnSo what’s good about this hotel the staff are amazing almost without exception They are all so happy chatty and will do anything for you Remember to take plenty of US in low denominations for tips nnWe were in the FC area hotel accommodated our request for interconnecting rooms and a top floor The rooms are well appointed clean and the maid service comes twice a day Loads of clean towels mini bar service is amazing once you tell them what you want it comes daily We had wine delivered to our room every day in an ice bucket and our butler Debir was always around to organise anything we wanted We ate in the speciality restaurants every night for a long stay it would be nice to have more variety Pools are good clean perhaps too warm in the afternoon It’s a bit annoying that every day sometimes multiple times a day the same people ask if you want a spa photo’s timeshare trips etc Shout out to Miguel who kept our ice bucked topped up all day with drinks Having walked around everywhere I wouldn’t personally consider any other part of this hotel except FC nnNano is pretty bland and basic and in busy times like a school canteen I’m appalled at the way people behave when there’s a buffet of free food you’ve never seen so many plates piled high then people leave it all and go back and get more Heathens Avoid Fortunately in FC we had our own restaurant for breakfast and lunch so we only used Nano for some lunches and never in the evening nnTake bug spray for evenings and your room else you’ll end up being a blood donor nnThe grounds are very well kept the gardeners work very hard to refused to allow my card details to be written down To be fair both the agent and his manager were very apologetic explaining that it’s hotel procedure – but it’s wrong not secure and open to abuse so don’t allow it And if you don’t feel able to say no report to your bank and obtain a new card to prevent fraud nnManagement should be visible in many other resorts I’ve stayed managers wander round talking to guests some have evening gatherings Standards do seem to have slipped here over the last few years which is a shame as the hotel could be amazing nnOverall a good family hotel expensive for
